Recommend some good front and rear rotors and brakes ......

Hey it is me again I am hearing a squeaking sound when I back up so I know that it is time for some brake pads...so I am just going to get new front and rear rotors and brakes for my 04 RL. So please some recommendations (not to pricey/ but good)...thanks in advance!

i would stay away from those crossed-drilled/slanted rotors. unless you race your car, they do nothing to help with braking. also, you can't resurface them for whatever reason. plus, don't buy from ebay. if you get a bad set, you'll have to pay shipping to get them exchanged and with that heavy weight, you'll end up paying alot. it happened to me twice and i swore, i'll never buy another set of ebay rotors. get it from your local advanceauto, autozone, pepboys, etc....they're relatively cheap compared to oem.

as far as brake pads, i don't buy anything else except oem. and believe me, i've tried all types of brand...from $200/set to $25/set. nothing beats oem in terms of progressive stopping, extremely quiet, and minimal dust.

advance auto
i replaced the front rotors and pads for less than $110 shipped.
I purchased the duralast or the house brand rotors with 2 year warranty and lifetime pads. I used code es123 which may work. there are a couple codes for the same discounts on the net..

I have used these rotors in the past with success. I have used these on many cars with success.

You could prob make 2 orders and get a better discount

total 114.97 -30 for code es123= 84.97

46.99 one front rotor
29.99 each rear rotor=59.98
total 106.97- 30 for code es123=76.97

I have EBC Greenstuff pads and slotted rotors on my RL. I have redstuff and slotted on my 350Z. Slotted rotors are nice if you ever plan to do 100+ mph in your car, or you live where there are deer. EBC makes a decent upgrade product for not much more than OEM in terms of $.

I ordered the brakes from Advance Auto (had to use a diff discount code) and I have an appointment to have them put on for $100 next Friday. I saw a step by step tutorial on how to replace them on another Acura site had been thinking of doing the brake job myself and saving $100.
