Smile new kid on the block

Just picked up a 2004 rl about a month ago and I got some big plans for it. I'm looking to do a full jdm conversion including a rhd swap. Might take a while though since I'm in debt now.

Anyways, I stumbled upon this site whiile tryna find some parts, and I just wanted to say how cool this site is and how nice some rl's on here are.

My name is patch, btw. Hope I can gain a lot of knowledge on this site even though it doesn't seem to contain many 1st gen rl drivers

Welcome..

There are a few RL drivers.. I have an '02 myself.

Why the RHD conversion?

The US got the best 1st gen RL/Legend out of the entire world in 2004.

I've always liked driving on the right hand side and have been used to it since my ua5 tl which was also converted as well.

But to be honest its nice being unique and knowing you are one of the few in the nation to do something.

As for the nicest legend in the world, I think japan has the best because they have so many options that we don't have here on our rl.

But I think I might sell this rl and ship a legend over, not sure yet. Ill post pics up later and give you guys an update.

Thanks again for all comments and support. Highly appreciated

What did the JDM '04 Honda Legend have that the US did not?

I know the Hong Kong market had heated rear seats during some years.. possibly reclining rear seats too.

mainly those options themselves.

power fold mirrors, bumper parking pole, front end side cameras, cornering lamps, intelligent cruise, etc.,

basically the list is endless, but you get my point.

The RL/ honda legend is Honda's flagship car and they wouldnt leave any options short of a top of the line car.
