MAINTE REQUID lite.

How do I get this lite to turn off? I just can't remember the trick. I know it comes on if I need to replace my battery or change my oil. My oil is new and I am running dual Optima yellow tops with a cap for my stereo and all my fluid levels are good. I tried disconnecting my battery for 20min, but it came back on. I really don't feel like having somone look at it at a stealership. It does have 140K miles on it now and seems to be going strong.

Hold "both" the reset and select buttons for the odometer down and turn the key to position II and count 10 seconds. You should hear a "beep" after 10 seconds and the maintenance required light should go out.

Thanks, got it fixed. I am honestly pondering trading this 99 in for an Audi now. I just drove an RS-6 and an S4 cabrio, and I now want more speed. I change up cars alot, and I have had this one for about 6 years now. It's almost problem free, just not as peppy as some of the newer stuff. I am also irritated with how the new acura stuff looks. It used to look cool and classy, but the new 09 MDX, RL, and TL are extremely fugly. What were they thinking?

I feel the same. The 1 st gen RL looks elegant. Now they look too sporty. There are enough sporty models out there. Acura needs another elegant model. I have a CL, too. That is my sporty two door.
