I may have just never noticed this before, but when you start the vehicle is the Maint Req'd light supposed to flash for about 10 seconds? Even after all the other "power on self-test" lights have gone on and off, the maint req'd light still flashes for another good 5-6 seconds, then goes out.

This normal?

 

It comes on every 6000-7500 miles to remind you to get an oil change. You can reset it yourself. I can't remember exactly how it's done. Check your manual.
