A help: My 1998 Acura RL Thuds heavily when I put the gear in reverse from park. What can I do to resolve that? A kind response will be greatly appreciated!

perhaps engine mounts and transmission mounts are busted?

 

Oh... Great thanks for the prompt reply. I looked up the engine mounts below and I noticed the right and left mount of the car were broken badly. Now how can I change/replace those. I am a DIY soul that does virtually everything on the car. If I can get step by step procedure on how to fix (change) this mounts I will just get down on it as fast as possible. Any help, clue? Thanks

 

Google and YouTube are your best sources of help, not a lot of traffic on the First Gen forums anymore. There lots of You Tube videos online of procedures and how to remove and replace parts. Good luck.

 

yeah right....thanks, although pretty skiny amount of videos on YouTube that shows the 1998 RL workout. Almost scarce to find one or two. I will just press thru... Shalom!
