Tire losing air, how much to fix?

I think it has a nail somewhere in there, i stopped by one of the tire shops here in VA and they quoted me $70.00 to fix, is this right? Is it because our RDX has a sensor? Anyone in NOVA knows where to fix a flat that does not charge that much?

Do you have Kauffman Tire in VA? They patch them for free.

Isn't the RDX covered under a 4-year tire warranty? That includes any punctures and flats you might get.

There's no standard road hazard tire warranty with any Acura product. Perhaps your dealer offered a road hazard package to you.

I've never paid more than $10 for a tire repair as long as the nail was in the tread section of the tire. Nails/screws in the sidewall typically equate to a new tire needed.

Really? Because I didn't have to pay an extra for it and it was never mentioned during negotiations. They just handed me the tire warranty along with the keys and registration...which is why I thought it came standard. Maybe it's a Canadian thing?

I had the same problem, and the dealer fixed it for free when I went in for an oil change.

Discount Tire fixes repairable holes for free, and I return the favor and buy my tires from them.
