has anyone found an effective way to "loosen" up the ride on the 2007 RDX? i understand that people dont like the big sloppy feel of SUVs, but driving around the streets of manhattan feels like off-roading in a corvette.
i took it to the dealer because my wife and i were convinced the suspension was broken, but he assured us that it wasnt, and that acura made the car drive like that on purpose.
the dealer said for $100 he could fill the tires with a different kind of gas that would soften the ride a bit. has anyone tried this?

we bought this car becasue were having a kid and we needed something bigger then our old CL, we bothed liked the idea of a smaller version of the MDX but were kind of worried the kid might die from shaken baby syndrome bouncing around in the back of this thing.

any tips, advice, or offers to buy a 2007 RDX with around 15,000 miles on would be greatly appriciated.

Try lowering your tire pressure by 1 or 2 psi.

 

did u test drive the car? trade it in on a CRV prob be a wash in terms of $$

 

The type of gas will make no difference in the ride. I'd would suggest trying the 2008 to see if that is acceptable. If so, you might be able to swap the springs/struts without too much effort (or trade up).

 

trade it in for a RX350

if you wanted a soft plush ride you have purchased the wrong vehicle.
