Was it raining out or very high humidity when it happened?

How did you reset your ECU? Don't wanna hijack your thread...I've just been trying to reset mine and I can't. I've disconnected the negative battery terminal for ~10 minutes. That didn't work. I've disconnected the negative battery terminal AND disconnected the connectors on the ECU for ~10 minutes...still didn't work. My radio presets are preserved, my auto-door-lock prefs are preserved

You need to disconnect the neg. first and than the pos. afterward.

Leave it alone or 5 to 10 minutes.
See if that would work or you. (Radio preset has nothing to do with resetting the ECU with the cel/codes that comes up)

^^ That same thing happened to me a couple of months after I got my RDX. I saw a few lights come up on the dash and freaked out. Turned my car off and on and everything seemed to be ok. It happened after I hit a pretty good bump. Apparently my positive battery cable was loose.

Get some clamps from a carstereo shop or amazon. I have a set of Stingers on mine, Acura pissed on all of us by using those wimpy battery clamps.
