Check Braking,ABS and VSA System
Hi,
I drive an 2007 Acura RDX, last friday i forgot to close the sunroof and my bad it rained very heavily...
As a result when i was going to work....I see the following warning symbols on the car
1.Check Braking System
2.Check VSA System
3.Check ABS System
4.Gear shifter got locked
Temporarily i am changing the gears with the knob pushed down.....what do you think i need to do now...my warranty got expired as well.
Can anyone help me to find what could have caused the issue

Well, you should understand that the air-bag control computer is located just in front of the gear-shift shaft, under the center console/ dash, as best as I can tell from looking at the FSM (factory servivce manual). Perhaps someone can tell us just exactly where it is located. Now, if this SRS computer gets wet, I would not expect the errors that you have reported, but instead some DTC related to the air bag system, but perhaps some other computer also got wet, and the SRS computer did not.
As a start, I would remove the center console around the shift shaft, and have a look. Is there visible water? visible rust? corrosion? etc.
If water got into the dash area, there are computers for the HVAC system under the dash on the passenger side, and of course, under the driver side dash, just left of the steering wheel, is a major electrical bus for all of the interior fuses (fuse box itself). Water in that area could cause the errors that you have reported.
You must simply look carefully for any moisture, try to dry it, and determine exactly what got wet. Sorry I cannot help futher.

Also, you can search for a thread on this forum, whereby someone drove their RDX into deep water, and got the entire dash area wet, and read about the problems and remedies that person took.
Thanks dcmodels for your reply.
1.Check Breaking System
2.Check VSA System
3.Check ABS System
4.Check Transmission
5.Check emission system
6.Gear shifter got locked
looks like it is expanding to other parts.

I went to the Acura dealer to diagnose for all the warnings.
They came back after an hour saying that.
1. Break Pedal switch needs to be replaced -$126
2. Battery needs to be replaced (which is in good working condition) -$115
I went to advanced auto parts to see how much the break pedal costs...unbelievable it is $7.99..the mechanic at the store replaced it for me and also noticed that the fuse 15A needs to be replaced...we did so..all the warnings has gone after replacing those 2 parts...
Interesting thing now the fuse is blowing after 30 mins...so i went back to the store and asked him to check...he replaced the fuse again....the warning has gone for that moment.....the fuse got blown again after 30 mins. any inputs on this?
I also noticed that the car horn, cruise control are not working.....do you think are all these interlinked?
