B1906 Air Bag Crash Sensor #2 Feed/Return Circuit Short To Ground

 

Forgot the car !


RDX Tech 2008, 100,000 miles, never accidented.


SRS light on, intermittent, does not seam to be the seat belt as per the OBD2 code.


If it id the crash sensor # 2, Does anyone know where it is located?

There should have tech expert that know where to look at first to solve the problem ?

 

Sensors are usually behind front bumper and around b pillar behind plastic covers
You might have a harness issue or srs control unit failure

 

Any idea where is sensor # 2 ?
Right or left ?

 

Acording to honda
Code B1906 has to do with immobilizer system

 

Go to acura and have them read the code

 

first, Acura have read the code, was B1906
second, B1906 mean:
B1906

Srs codes are 2 digit then a dash and 2 digits

codes that start with B means is for body control systems
P is for power train .
but hey im just tring to help you out

Dealer also confirm what I had found, B1906 Crash sensor #2


Had also a 31-21 code, according to your Site, this lead to this description:high Resistance In Driver Side Impact Air Bag Module
