A few months ago I replaced the alternator on our 08 RDX. Works great but the lights all pulse at idle . The headlights do not seem to pulse ( the daytime driving lights do pulse )

so .. any thoughts on why this is happening?

 

Where did you get the alternator

 

from Rock Auto . It is OEM .

 

what brand? Could be a bad one but also could be an issue with belt tension,

 

it is Denso I think . Belt looks good, tensioner too.
charging seems good too .. I will put a meter on it and see what it’s putting out

 

If you look at the rock auto site, it clearly says, rebuilt. I trust some things that are rebuilt, but electronics aren't in that list.

 

So I guess I should budget for a replacement alternator. Thanks for the help !
