My 2008 transmission didn't survive a radiator transmission cooler failure. I'm sourcing a used trans. What years RDX can I replace it with?

 

2007-2012 are all the same generation, although FWD-only cars have a different final drive. I would expect any 2007-2009 model would do (they're all SH-AWD), or any 2010-2012 that came out of a SH-AWD model.

I just had the radiator failure problem. I was lucky to catch it right when it started. I was in the hood and happened to check the coolant. Saw it was purple. I was surprised to see no coolant in the radiator, the ATF lines much have a decently higher pressure level.

Did you find changing the transmission a hard job?
