Limp mode multiple codes help

So my wife was driving her 07 Rdx when the check engine light and shawd lights came on and it started running rough and turned into limp mode from what I can tell. She was driving when it happened. We had it towed. I suspect an electrical problem because we’ve had similar cases and replaced alternator and it was fine. Could weak battery or bad ground cause this? Shop said to replace ignition coil, spark plugs, clean fuel injectors but I’m not sure that is the right answer. Shop said alternator was fine. Any wisdom would help here.

Yes. Easy enough to check the battery. What were the codes?

I wasn’t there to get codes. But she said check engine light and shawd lit up. She turned it off and tried again the shawd light was t on but it threw out different codes. It didn’t have enough power to start and had to jump it at shop from my understanding

The times when my 08 RDX did that was when the alternator was failing and wasn't putting out enough volts charge the battery and run the RDX. X-mas tree lights on the dash once the battery volts got too low to power the car. It would buck like a bronco if voltage gets really low. It would start again once the sat for a while. The second time was when my i-vtec switch over solenoid failed and went into limp mode and not sh-awd (felt like a 4 cylinder diesel on 3 cylinders). The solenoid failure had a code with it.

So according to my wife the check engine light came on as did the shawd but it never threw codes to the in car navigation display which it normally does. I don’t have a code reader. I am currently charging the battery out of the car and then I will drive to advance auto to get the codes read.
