Questions about tuning

Hey guys, I’m opening up my questions to this forum as I can’t get a reply from the tuner who is tuning my car.

My car is idling high after the initial tune for the injectors. It’s idling around 950rpm. Is this something that can be changed in flashpro?

I guess I could get my mechanic to double check. I got them installed 2 weeks ago and asked my tuner last week and haven’t gotten a response yet. A simple “let me look into this” or “thanks for letting me know” would have been good enough.

if you're dealing with an individual who doesnt tune for a living, rather tunes for extra beer money...you're at the mercy of when they have time.
it's very plausible that when the item was installed, something wasnt hooked up correctly leading to a vaccuum leak, thus wouldnt be the tuner's fault..and he wouldnt neccesarrily take the time to figure out a hardware issue.

basically; YMWV...or your mileage will vary.. or you're at your own risks here.

yeah i get what you mean. do you have a tune on your rdx? my tune was purchased from an accredited shop btw. I'm actually surprised at their lack of customer service.

my TL is tuned, albeit naturally aspirated, but I did contact an individual to "street tune my car via electronic mail"

I see that you've contacted a shop to tune your car...must be not that accredited if they're not answering your emails and calls...
Perhaps, you can leave bad reviews and contact the BBB? Perhaps facebook or twitter? or instagram?

Perhaps just try calling them on the phone? Blasting someone on social media is not the right thing to do as mentioned above. Constantly sending emails normally bumps you down as most businesses don't reply to the "newest" emails and go to the oldest email first. When you send another message it bumps you to the end of the list.

Yes, you should be able to change the idle rpm through the flashpro. I’m just not sure 🤔 how to do it myself...
