Questions, questions, questions

Hey people, I got lots a questions and I really want to here your answers and opinions.

First, tell me what you guys think of this kit, is it too much?

http://www.wickedbodies.net/generic266.html

Next, is comptech the best way to go with for the exaust system, icebox, headers etc?If not which brand is?

What about a hood scope?

How big can i go with the rims before i run into problems?

Lastly, does anyone know of any custom bodyshops in Georia?

Which kit? The one on top is all right, but the side skirts don't do it for me (they would be better without that little side step lookin' indentation). I'm not into wire mesh on the TL, so I don't really care for the bottom one. But, this is all just my opinion.

Comptech seems to be the popular choice among the members here and the brand that is the benchmark for other brands. It's also a little more expensive than the other brands, but worth it.

Again, in my opinion, I would leave the hood scoop off. TL doesn't have the lines for one, and scoops are kinda JC-Whitney looking....

Wheel size depends on if your planning on lowering your car. If you lower it, then I think it's common to go up to 18, some have 19's, fewer have 20's. It really depends on how far you lower you car and what size tires you stick on your wheels.... (Do a search, there's a heap of info about wheels on this site)

And nope, I can't say that I know of any shops in GA.

Hope this helps.

SARONA KIT (bottom) is too expensive and WILL TAKE FOREVER to ship...maybe it will never get to you...its imported. Its fiberglass and it will have a change at getting those ugly craks with temp changes. you looking at 1500paint and mount and labor

the Wings West kit (AKA WW, i have) if you do buy, do not order from them...it WILL TAKE 2-3months...buy from ROC-Z on ebay. i bought from him, he is VERY reliable and you'll have the kit in 2weeks. 3 if you get unlucky. somewhere around 800-1500 for PRIMING (raw urethane kit=unbreakable b/c it bends) painting , mounting and labor.

As far as headers...unless you got a lot of $$...go comptec, but for headers that will give the SAME gains but have a chance at breaking after 2-3years, get OBX stainless steel...if they break, buy another pair, 2-3 years more and you are still $500 under what the comptecs cost.

Icebox over any CAI, AEM CAI=Injen CAI (hp but not price), and the exhaust go watever you want... its all about personal style and wallet size...personally, i'd get a custome made one from any car moddin shop (car & driver, etc) Youll get the same with piping, perfect fitment, same gains installed by them under $400...then you can pay 100-200 per muffler and you can get watever you want.

A small hood scoop, towards the front or towards the back... SMALL, would look nice. its never been done once and it looked good...be the 2nd.

Dont even think about custom body shops...you'll end up paying 2000for a kit and 1000 more for paint.

peace.
