The 18t can push out another 60-80 cfm so estimated about another 30-40 HP. Plus it'll be more effective at higher rpms because of the clip. You can probably forego the clip, and save a few bucks, but I figured why not?
You might be able to squeeze a 19t wheel in there for a few extra HP, but it'll be cutting it close.

Everything cost about $300.

so did they replace just the wheel? or the whole cartridge?

did they have to bore the housing? or did it fit ok? where did you get the wheel at? was thinking of getting this http://www.xsboostturbochargers.com/...-mhi-18t-td04/

The vacuum manifold was for the extra vacuum lines from the blow valve, and fuel pressure regular. The brake booster and oil catch fit right up to the RBC.

youll have to do a full write up on that cause you inspired me to want to do this =)

The intake manifold feels superb! Pulls hard from 4500rpm to redline without any turbo lag. However, my mechanic told me to stay off it until I get it tuned because of the increased air flow.

not an SUV ...a Big Hatch
so what's the plan for the intercooler ken? ETS? custom?
I'm sure the meth injection cools it nicely, but given your track record its probably safe to assume you want to upgrade...

I will most likely go with the ETS intercooler, but still keeping an open mind about other options. I haven't connected the water/meth to the new setup. I going to wait for the cam install and tune. I live an hour 1/2 away from Humble Performance, so I have to take a few days off to go there for the work. Hoping it will be soon.

I'm sure under normal (stock) conditions they would last the life of the vehicle; however, this build is not under those conditions. With high lift cams and dual valve springs, I'm sure it would hurt to change out a few minor things along the way.

I will look into ETS. I think I'm able to get my car up to Humble Performance next week. I'll see what they can do first, maybe a custom intercooler setup.

It flows REAL well, if my stock turbo is getting gains, you'll be wicked happy.
Interested in how you'll tune out the 4k flatness, It's rather annoying for me and I have the Hondata stock tune.

Well with the RBC and ZDX TB, it just pulls to redline no flatness at all. I wish I had some of you local to check it out. We need to have an RDX meet sometime in the near future. Oh, I took a 100 mile trip today and was getting an average of 20mpg. Could be the setup...

cant wait to see what kind of numbers you pull with all that done. I think I might wind up going to a front mount setup eventually as I think it will need it so there is no air flow issues at speed. I think the top mount looses flow across the core at higher speeds on the road.

The only time I saw 20+mpg was stock rolling on 18" wheels. My average with 20" rims was 17, maybe 17.5mpg. But I'm rock'n 20" rims, BBK, and 20" spare and got around 20mpg. Kinda scared me, but I guessed it could be the setup untuned, not sure.

Ok, I'm not going with the TSX cam gear, just running the stock one. Made an appointment for next week to get everything installed at Humble Performance.
