dyno procedure???

this goes out to those that have done dyno tuning. is it possible to just disconnect the rear drive shaft for tuning purposes as its only a 2 wheel dyno.

yes you can.. you have to turn off the traction control when you do it. also your numbers will be squewed since your only going off the front wheels and not all 4

You're in PA. I recommend visiting Innovative Motorworks in Carlisle. Derek does a great job. They have an awd mustang dyno so no need to disconnect anything. I've been slacking on putting mine on to get baseline numbers.

need to understand how to use flash pro better then after I get the turbo modified by Blouch performance ill add boost. seems like this turbo is pretty much maxed out and I want my takeoff to be a good core for the next guy.

Gotcha...that sounds much more realistic. Not that I don't want to see someone at 260. Keep it up!

no I made 264 by the end of the session. I started at 224 with a base map and what used to be fully bolted. ( now we have cams and more goodies )

264 at what boost level though? Still only 14lb? If so did you manage to keep it at 14 at higher revs or did you gain all the power through timing and fuel adjustments? Just curious what the secret is to bringing the potential out of this engine.

yes you did I could have picked them up on my way home on tues but they are here. kinda rusty but hopefully they clean up well. and yes the 264 number is with fuel and spark added only we didn't touch the boost settings. im not up on my flash pro enough to be able to add boost. im still a noob in the tuning a computer world.

Pulled them out of my crv motor I'm building for my car. I don't know how long the motor sat. Came from a dealership.
