Which cold air intake to get ?, secret weapon or the K&N typhoon ?
i would like to hear some feedbacks from those who have either one of them installed, I forgot to add CP-E Intake, so there's 3 intakes out there, which one is best in terms of performance etc....
i would like to know in terms of performance and gas consumption because I heard the turbo will spool faster, doesn't that use up more gas ?
thanks

CP-E Intake
I have recently purchased and installed (myself) a CP-E CAI and to be honest with you, at first it scared the shit out of me...I thought i did something wrong, it is a completely different sound......Sounds goooooooood!!!!!!!!
I am not too sure about the MPG just yet, and personally don't care, but i do feel a stronger pull through the low to mid range.....Throttle response seems better, but you can really feel it when you go to pass.......The noise is addictive......Hope this helps you...

It's that initial growl at the low RPMs which makes me want to make love to my car.

The K&N is very loud. Part of the reason I took it off (since my wife is now driving it). Again, they are all tubes with cone filters - they will sound the same.
Part throttle noise is the loudest where the factory BPV is whooshing.

I have K&N in my RDX and I think they are pretty good. The intake is loud and makes the car more responsive. Before the intakes, there were several times I felt turbo lag when I needed power and kept thinking how V6 should be better than I4 turbo. But after installing it, I dont recall feeling underpowered.
My friend drove my car and he was impress by all the sounds it makes. He thought I modded lots of stuff (intercooler, BoV, intake, etc). I told him that I just changed the intake, so now he already knows what to get to gf for Xmas (she drives a CX-7).
