I love to do the downpipe for my 08 RDX. Not sure how it would do since we have to do emission testing.

That's most peoples fear passing emissions I believe with the 02 spacer it should help out. If not removing the secondary sensor to off in fkashrpro should help depending on where you are located some states allow 1 monitor to not be ready to pass

I just did Hondata, ETS intercooler, Hondata heatshield gasket, and K/N drop-in filter. More power, faster spool, way easier to drive at high altitudes, AND increase in mpgs. You are going to have a Kick-A$$ RDX with even more power and mpgs than mine! Unless the 3rd Gen 2.0L RDX with 10AT can work miracles, the 1st Gen RDX with aftermarket part is the best bang for the buck performance SUV/CUV out there.

You have a nice list of mods there. I have k&n cold air intake and hondata map waiting to install my 800cc injectors than the down pipe after that exhaust just going easy weather hasn't been that good normally I work in the cold but not lately lol

Anybody have just the downpipe and Hondata reflash? If so, how is the car running for you?
I understand that in hindsight the best value was to buy a flash pro and mod from there, but already having the Hondata reflash puts me in a spot where I don't really want to shell out the $600. I want to say that doing the downpipe on top of the reflash may be the end of my modifications to the vehicle, as I don't really want to also buy new injectors (at least not at the moment...)
Having said that, if you're running the downpipe on the Hondata map, I simply want to know what your experience has been. CELs? Noticeable performance gains? Fuel economy? Every day drivability? Does it sound more bad ass?
Thanks.

^ If you add the down pipe to the Hondata reflash you will probably have to also employ some physical means of preventing the check engine light.
The Flashpro however can be set to prevent the light.

Thank you. Is it a debilitating code that throws the car into limp mode, or is it just an annoying orange emissions light? Also, I understand the catless downpipe comes with a defouler. Reading some of the older posts, people have had mixed results with the efficacy of the defouler.
Sounding like the downpipe + flashpro is the way to go.

Good evening,
I have an air intake, top mount intercooler, bypass valve, downpipe, midpipe, and catback done. None of these have caused any codes on mine. I’m doing the injectors, harness, fuel pump, and tune next up.

Sorry to refresh the topic but I don't want to start a new thread.
Question:
How to remove the OEM Downpipe from the engine side (from the top). Someone tried?
It is possible?
