Question 9005 bulbs

Has anyone replaced their 9005 bulbs? i purchased the piaa 9005 but they would not go in any help Thanks

Are you sure you have 9005's and not 9006's? 9005 is a high beam bulb; 9006 is a low beam bulb. They both have the angled base. The info is on the bulb also. Sometimes the bulbs get put into the wrong box.

9005 or HB3 is correct if you want to replace the high beam. If you are trying to replace the low then that is different. I guess just check if you are 1) putting them in the right place and 2) putting them in the right way. I know that sounds simple but sometimes the simple stuff gets overlooked.

Hello, thanks but it was the metal ring with the two screws i just loosen the screws and twisted them in and retighten the screw and was done.

Put the bulb first then plug.
