I have a new (to me) 2011 RDX and I think it has the tech package. I see a USB cable in the console. I want to try moving my music to a USB memory key, but I can't find details of the key.
1. What is the max size supported for a USB memory key in this vehicle?
2. What format (eg: FAT32/FAT) should the USB memory key use?

Also, what file formats are supported? Most of my music files are WAV format...so I'm hoping I don't have to convert
And...I just remembered there's EXFAT format too

FYI - after some experimenting, I can confirm that FAT32 format works. As well, MP3 files play.
But, WAV and FLAAC files don't play (are not visible). I have the non-nav radio in case that matters.
I supposed I will have to convert all of my WAV to MP3...yuk

My 08 RDX didn't have the flashdrive or Bluetooth audio streaming of music option; but, my 11 MDX did. I had to format my flashdrive to FAT32 and mostly MP3 format with some hit/miss with certain iTunes formats. My 11 MDX organized the files wasn't the best and very hard to find a particular album, artist, playlist, or song like you have on your smartphone. I just ended up using the flashdrive in random folder/song play and skipped songs I didn't want to hear (Bluetooth audio streaming was easier to use).
If you have an iphone, or can get your hands on an ipod, you can load files in ALAC format to that if you want to have lossless (or as close as you can get to it) music. I have an ancient 16GB nano that I keep plugged into the console port for that reason.
