Key Fob Range Degrading?

Hi guys, my 2007 RDX Key Fob is starting to give issues with the range. I initially thought it may be the battery in the fob, so I changed it but the problem persists. It's come to the point where the unlock/lock button doesn't work until I'm about right next to the vehicle. Is there a antenna or something that can be replaced? Or should I just opt for a new key? Any alternatives to the dealer considering it's an older vehicle now? I'm an OEM person btw, thanks in advance

Does the range seem to vary based on where the vehicle is parked?

No idea what wireless frequency the fob operates on, but I'm wondering if the fob's transmitter is being crowded out by some other device transmitting on a similar frequency nearby.

In the last 15 years the wireless space has become a lot more crowded. I work as an event audio tech, and have wireless microphones that I can't use at weddings anymore - when the room has 200+ smartphones in it, they hog the 2.4GHz band and cause other wireless devices to have extremely limited range or drop out completely. Maybe something similar is happening here?

I could be completely wrong about this, just a guess.
