Is the Factory Radio of a 2007 Base RDX, XM ready?

Seems as in order to use an ipod interface, such iSimple or USA Spec, and show the songs or playlist on the display, An XM ready radio is needed to plug in.
Surfed a lot thru some threads and posts, and most owners has Tech package.
Thanks.

I don't have an RDX, but am pretty sure all of the Acura radios have been satellite radio ready for years regardless of the trim level/package.

I have a 2007 RDX. I had a USA-Spec BT45-HON3 installed and it works perfectly.

Mine is Base, non Tech. When streaming audio over Bluetooth from an internet source or the like, it just displays it as a seventh track; I just switched the display to show the time.

I see, so you stream audio over BT, not an iPod connector, or the USA Spec BT 45 has an iPod connector either, if so, it displays the playlist or the track name?
I do have a small BT adapter connected to the aux (3.5mm jack ) input so I can stream music from my iPhone, but the IPod classic would need a wired connection, I can just use a 3.5 mm dual jack wire, but would like to see the info on the audio Display.

You can probably get it to display just by plugging your ipod classic into the 3.5mm jack, if I'm not mistaken.

But why do that? There's Spotify, Pandora, and pocasts. Bluetooth! Get that phone on a mount.

I wish It could transmit data from the ipod or iphone using the minijack aux port, but that way only sound is allowed Csargemg; seems as the only way would be if my radio is XM ready, just checked the USA Spec BT45- HON3 at Crutchfield's website, and it says you must plug the harness on the Satellite radio Tuner behind the Glove Box, as you said, your's is a Base Model and you were able to connect this adapter so mine would be the same, Thanks.

I see, if it doesn't display the track or I cannot manage the playlist, I'll skip it, for starters, I would need to order to an US address and pick it when I go in a couple of months, otherwise the international shipping costs, plus import taxes would double the price, besides that, yesterday evening I tried something: plugged the iPod on the Aux input, plugged the 30 pin iJet remote controller unit on it, attached the remote to the steering wheel using a rubber band provisionally, and I was able to control my iPod, of course the radio display just showed AUX on the screen, but all I need is to get a good iPhone/ iPod hold, and maybe use a small velcro patch to fix the small and light ipod remote on the steering wheel.
There are a couple of places where I could fix the ipod and will be able to see the display.
Anyway if You sent me your email address in a PM, I will sent you an mp3 file for a test.
