Hello, I have an ACURA RDX 2007, I have the technology package in the vehicle, I want to pair my phone to the bluetooth, but the previous owner before me set a password that I do not know, how may I reset the blue tooth so that I can pair my cellphone to it?
Does it ask for a password/PIN right away? If yes, then:
That's from 2007-2008 TL service manual:
HFL in RDX is probably similar, and searching for "07 RDX bluetooth locked" came up with same answers.
You need HDS or some other "powerful" scanner ( that connects to OBDII port) to perform system reset, or contact previous owner to get the code.
Honda and Acura dealerships should have a scanner, other shops might have it, but are not likely to even try to help. If you have a friend with Verus or something similar, it might work.
