Need real Bluetooth for my 2006 TL

New to the forum. I have a 2006 Acura TL with Navi. I need a Bluetooth bypass that works well for my vehicle. The technology of course is dated. I need Bluetooth that plays media music from Android phones or iphones or tablets. I'd also like to be able to use my car radio controls and be able to see title of the songs played and artist.. lastly I'd like to be able to use hat Bluetooth to make and answer calls. The factory phone Bluetooth sucks.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey ktuck911. This should help you out. It costs alot more than other alternatives, but it is also one of the easiest to install.

I have a BT45-Hon3 myself and i gota say, its worth every penny imo. I only use bluetooth to stream music. But its pretty seemless and I haven't had any problems since ( owned and installed for 2 months now).

I just order this for my 2006 TL with Nav (DVD drive is non functioning therefore screen is not working). How much of the track / music info is shown in the small upper display?

For me it just shows the song title, up to however many characters it can show at once (i.e. not the whole song title, and doesn't scroll to show the whole title)

I also recently got the BT45-HON3 installed. The radio scrolls through the song title once when it's first played, then shows something along the lines of "CH 01 [Random Numbers]". Not really an issue for me, but sort of a bummer. Other than that, it works great, automatically connects, and works great with calls. I installed it in the rear trunk to replacing XM1.

I have the Isimple Ishd651 installed and it does show the artist and the name of the song on the nav screen. You also can use the steering wheel controls or nav to change the songs. It comes with a usb charger too. You can either stream music by bluetooth, usb or aux.
I bought my online from Walmart for $109.

I figured out today - if you push the DISP button next to XM, it will cycle through channel (nonsense), artist, album, song title. Success!

AMP for phone music

I have the iSimple setup in my 2006 TL w/Navi. The auto shop installed a headphone jack in the armrest well. There, I plug a headphone cord between my phone and the jack. The music plays fine but I have to crank up the volume to hear it at the same level as the radio or the CDs. I just bought a small inline amp that will pump up the volume, plus promote the bass level more. It recharges via USB and lasts for 16 hours.
I bought it from Amazon:

Crux Bluetooth?

Had anyone tried the Crux brand Bluetooth adapter? Looks like it plugs in via Xm like the USA spec product. Price is only $70 and is recommended by my local stereo shop.

I just replaced a whole head unit (non-nav) on my 08 TL with pioneer X2700BS double din, Also installed a backup camera. I now have a Backup camera, Bluetooth music streaming and calling (HFL died anyway), USB, FM/AM (will need additional FM adapter), CD/DVD bypassed so I can watch DVD while driving although I don't . Later on, I also added axcess metra steering wheel adapter (must have IMO).
