So long RDX... Hello TSX

Wanted to say thanks to everyone in the RDX forum.

After eight months I decided my RDX was just a little to much trouble to keep around. New turbo, intercooler, oil pan, navigation system, window regulator and ac compressor added up to a vehicle that left a bitter taste in my mouth.

I traded it for a CPO 2011 TSX.

So far I have been in love with the new car.

Happy motoring guys. See you all on the general forums

Wow I thought RDX was reliable. I just bought 2010 RDX. Crossing fingers for everything to be OK. I love TSX, wish I can get that but too small for a family.

Sorry to see you go.

That has to be the biggest list of repairs I've heard of for the RDX; especially, in that short amount of time. I would dump the RDX also with that laundry list of problems. I've been very happy with my 06 TSX and always enjoyed +09 TSX loaners when needed. Acura did a much better job with the styling of the +09 TSX compared to the +09 TL. The TSX would of been my choice, even if a TL was close to the same price. Don't like how the +09 TL is always smiling at you from the rear. Once you see it, you can't un-see it

I think the previous owner just beat the living crap out of the RDX. And it probably wasn't maintained very well. I don't blame Acura of Reno (bought the CPO TSX there). They bent over backwards trying to keep me happy, but I needed a car that I could trust to drive up into the mountains and out of town.

I do miss the "glued to the road","turns on rails" of SH-AWD, and the punch of the turbo, but I am loving the 30+ MPG.

Never heard of so many issues with the RDX. Congrats on the TSX.

I've never owned a used car, but that's always my worry -- that the previous owner(s) abused it. I drive all my cars gently, as I want them to last a good long time.

My TSX since Nov have had 5 dealer visits. Worse than my British cars. CPO list of repairs is long.... for my wagon.
