Looking to trade RDX for minivan

I have a 2007 Carbon grey RDX tech. 3k miles.

Looking to reduce payments and have more space for moving pinball machines (my all space consuming hobby). I'd like to be able to pick up a pinball machine with both my wife and son in the car and it's impossible with the RDX. I live in the city and would like to have something larger where we can throw the bikes, bike trailer, all kinds of gear in the van and get out of the city for a bike ride.

I love the RDX but need something with more utility.

looking for Odyssey, Sienna, mazda MPV, or something similar and well rated.

Thanks!!

To sell a brand new car with only 3k miles on it... You're gonna take a bath on depreciation. I would just keep the RDX, even if it doesn't fit your needs. It's kinda "too late now."

especially given the current market for suv's, however, whats the market like for minivans...its gotta be similar, no? so you might score a good deal on a minivan as well...taking a hit in deprec but also getting a discounted minivan its kind of a wash.

I guess my question is: Does anyone have a minivan they would like to trade for an RDX. I figure just as i'm looking to upsize someone out there with kids out of the house would be looking to downsize.

Agreed, just floating this out there i would trade for a used minivan so figure it would wash out. I've been renting minivans when i need to carry more than 2 people and a game somewhere.

Just go pick up a used, 4cyl pickup truck like I did. I needed a utility vehicle that gives great MPG (gets 26MPG) and space to haul stuff, (dirty stuff) which I wouldn't want to haul in the RDX.

I picked (May 2008) up a 2003 Nissan Frontier XE 2WD for 5k, and it runs flawless!

This makes better sense than to give in for a minivan, but that's my opinion.

I would say keep it buy a small trailer and pull it around it would be cheaper than buying or trading your RDX. Plus your talking about going out side the city well you have an all wheel drive vehicle perfect for that and the mini van is not just my opinion .

Thanks guys for the suggestions but living in the city would mean i would have to park one of those cars on the street as well as pay insurance and city stickers for a car i only use about 20 times a year. We get by fine on one car with renting another for the twice a year we need to travel independently.

I've gone through every possible scenario. i could rent trailers, but don't want to deal with the hassle when I just want to get up and go. I have a 75x125 lot so thats not much space to store anything even if i could get it past the garage. Hrmm maybe someone will invent an inflatable trailer

Coin-op collecting usually means the 1st person there with cash in hand gets the deal.

I didn't expect the family or the pinball addiction to expand like it did when i bought the RDX
