I definitely would email them and every dealer within a 75 mile radius of your home to request a quote. You can then better negoiate locally if you want. Also read carbuyingtips.com for more information. They say that the best time to buy is now. People are too busy buying holiday gifts, so car sales are slow. Also, Acura Finance has a good deal on financing for the RDX (4.9% for qualified buyers). This combination (good deals plus good financing) made us switch from buying a CRV EX-L to the RDX. I am so glad I did. Have a good holiday and good luck. Jay

and.......there was a 3% to 5% merchant fee for the transaction.
Good idea - makes me think - I can always use more points on the AMEX !

I just charged 2500 to the credit card last weekend. No problems. When we bought our CR-V a few years ago, the dealership let us put the whole down payment on the card: $7000. It was a sunday night, I didn't have any checks with me, and they wanted to do the deal. Lots of air miles on that one! They may not be so willing to do credit if your history is less than stellar, though. Not sure.

experience buying RDX in Colorado?
Most of the posts I've seen have been from NoCal or the Northeast.
Anyone have experience buying in Colorado or other Rocky Mountain states?
Dealer told me MSRP + 670 Dest fee + ~400 D+H fee for a Tech.
Sounds like others regions are getting ~500 under MSRP.
Are the Destination fee and D+H fee the same thing?

I bought a non-Tech from Pikes Peak for $32,000 + Tax. Boulder wouldn't deal. Mile High didn't offer as good as a deal. And I never heard from Courtesy Acura.

Advanced
...I shouldn't look at this thread
I'm clinging on to the "I got a good deal on my trade" line and sticking with that
Oh, yeah, and STILL loving it at just about 3 months!

I live on Long Island and have not seen one RDX on the road yet. I see the new MDX's and alot of Madza's CX7, but no RDX's.
I really find this odd, but then again I also don't see many RL's either. Is Acura pricing themselfs out the market with these two?

I believe the reason is simplly a lack of advertizing (especially compared to the CX-7's TV ads)!

Finance person said this was cheapest she had seen one go for so far.
(yeah yeah, take it with a grain of salt, but she wasn't in sales, so i dont' think she had reason to lie)
Courtesy offered same deal, but would have to wait for the car
Mile High offered lower for a color we didn't want
Pike's Peak is too far away.
thanks for all the info in this forum, helped me immensely

Finally - after years of waiting, yes years, going back to the Detroit Auto Show, I made the purchase tonight. Thanks to all of you fellow owners for putting me over the edge. It's a load of money - but damn, nothing else is as good.
Oh - the details.... $100 over invoice with a few freebies thrown in and great value on my trade in. This was in Houston and I had been working with all 4 dealers, PM for details.
Bummer is that it was raining tonight so I already need to get it washed.

I know how you feel about the rain. No worries though - they wash up great.

Finally - the CarsDirect.com price dropped today for a tech from MSRP to $36,555. It aint much but it's a great overall indication that the car is getting soft.

Great news Ozwaldo and good luck with it. Mine is also carbon gray. Great color but I noticed that the last couple of cars bought in my office were gray. Too bad I did not realize this until after I bought mine. I would have then considered going bronze. Oh well, still love the color. Enjoy your new RDX (even if it is raining). Have a great holiday everyone. Jay

quote for 33,300 (before taxes and tags) for RDX with Tech package in Norcal today. They want to move these suckers - lots just piling up on lots. That's $322 of dealer profit over true invoice (true invoice = invoice + destination - holdback)
#269
Took that price to another dealer and got them to $33,220 before taxes and tags for a 2007 with Tech package - deal was done today. Just drove it home. Great car. I'm happy with my price.

Perhaps a hidden gem of deal going on here in Dec. for an RDX.
Having giving one a test drive I must say 33K w/Tech is very tempting.
