Dead Battery / Issue with parasitic draw

Dead Battery / Issue with parasitic draw
I have a question for you experts. I have a 2007 rdx w/tech package with an intermittent dead battery issue. The battery, alternator, and charging system checked out fine, therefore I am guessing I have a parasitic draw. My previous Acura TL had a similar issue and it turned out to be the HFL.
Currently, I have an ammeter in series with the negative terminal of the battery. My two questions are:
1. What is the normal current draw (I have no aftermarket accessories installed).
2. What are common items to short on the car? I hear seat heaters, accessory plugs....
3. Where is the HFL module located on the RDX?
THANKS

First off, has your battery ever been changed in your RDX or is it still the original?
I had the same issue in the summer with my 2010. The AC Clutch Fan Relay was one issue, and when the battery was tested again, it had two dead cells. Get your battery tested!

Hmmm...interesting. My new to me '08 w/ tech has had 2 batteries replaced according to the Carfax report. I'll have to keep an eye on this. I may just go with an Optima (yellow top) at the first sign of any trouble.

I have the same problem with my 2007. Has completely drained 3 times in my 6 years of ownership - once over 4 days of sitting, and twice over 2 day stretches. Each time it happened, I had the battery checked and it was fine. I still believe it's something not shutting down properly rather than native parasitic draw because I have had occasions where it has sat for 2 weeks without draining. I finally replaced the original battery last month with a larger capacity AGM. I'm hoping it will survive better...

I had a battery go dead last month. Wal-mart replaced it under warranty (it was only like 10 months old). It turns out that the trunk light was the culprit. It has an on-off switch but doesn't go off automatically.

Yes, some of the 07 Tech models had a problem with the amp. I stumbled upon the problem when I bought a used 07 Tech and found out that the battery had already been replaced twice under warranty. The dealer was kind enough to replace the defective part even though my RDX was just out of warranty.

my 2012 would randomly turn on the outside lights (head and tail lights, etc), if I didn't happen to be outside and saw the lights were on, I'd have thought my car has a parasitic draw too. your might have the same issue, in fact, I've seen a lot of these dead battery issue with RDX, maybe there is a bug with our car. Anyway, it was fix under warranty last week, not sure if they really fixed it thou, they replaced 2 parts, but since they can't reproduce the problem in the shop, so not sure if the parts they replaced really did fix the problem, time will tell (luckily, I took some video, or they would probably just return the car without replacing any parts.).
