Interesting because my car is right in the middle of this date range (2010 TL-SHAWD w/Tech) and I have not seen this problem. My clock and calendar are still correct.

Believe it only impacts models that have navigation. Do you have navigation?
08 TL owner reporting in. This problem started for me on Jan 1, 2022 and my dash clock was 1 hour ahead for a few days. The GPS unit would not allow me to set the time, as others have reported. Now the dash clock is off by random amounts , today it was either 4 hours behind or 8 hour ahead.
I don't care about the clock, but my battery went dead a few days ago. Could GPS be running updates while the car is off?
I doubt. I would run battery parasitic draw test. Bluetooth HFL is common issue on 3rd gen TLs. It will drain battery in a day or two.

Thanks, I already disconnected HFL when I bought the car. Right now car has no timing belt, so I will defer setting the clock and finding the electrical leech for later.

When I wrote this post on 01/15/22, the general impression was that my 2010 TL was included in the affected cars but today I read the official January, 2022 Acura Service Bulletin, B21120A Version 1 (http://www.urvi.net/forumfiles/SN/B21120A.PDF) on this issue and it shows it only affects 2007 - 2008 TLs. That explains why a 2010 TL like mine is not affected.
No. Honda will either release a fix (which will involve DVDs) or we wait until August 2022.
I may be wrong but I don't see Honda spending a ton of $$$, time or resources on something that is supposedly going to fix itself in August, but that's just me.
I did not realize this was a problem until I cleaned my battery cables yesterday and then was completely pissed off it had the wrong time and it wouldn't take my manual entry.
Another completely stupid thing. This is right up there with your toddler can pick up your keys and unlink your key fob in a couple seconds. Then all your customized settings are gone and it will not allow you to adjust them. It just says error and there is zero mention of this anywhere in the manual or online. I had no idea the fob was unlinked and not allowing me to set my settings. I finally stumbled across a PDF for key fobs and solved it. That can also cause you not to be able to adjust your time. But that is not the issue here.
I will post the link/unlink proceedure anyways in case someone runs into clock issuess after Honda/Acura fixes this issue.
Linking/Unlinking the Remote Transmitters with DPMS The remote transmitters 1 and 2 (identified on the back) are
linked to the DPMS, the climate control settings, the audio
settings, the customization menu (in the MID), navigation,
and illumination settings. To recall your settings in DPMS, the
remote transmitter must be linked to the system. Remote
transmitter 1 recalls Driver 1 settings, and remote transmitter
2 recalls Driver 2 settings.
To link and unlink the remote transmitters, press and hold the
Lock and Unlock buttons at the same time for about 1
second. The LED blinks twice to indicate linked and once to
indicate unlinked.
So I have the orange disc that's been having this issue since January of 2021. Mine did NOT fix itself in August of last year. I was actually hoping it would fix itself in January of this year but instead everyone else's broke.
Is the base year in the orange disc 2001 or 2002? I also noticed my navigation broken date is a month off of the ones in the white discs. See below. So when is this going to fix itself if it ever will?
I'm wondering if switching to a base clock could just allow us to set the time manually. I'm probably getting ahead of myself. Wiring would probably be a pita too. But it's a thought.
Add me to the pile. I was like why is my clock still wrong and I cannot reset it> I don't care about the calendar much but the time is an issue. I read in the 3G TL megathread for some it seemed to be fixed for some out of the blue. Mine was fine until last Sunday DST time change, Someone indicated pulling a fuse instead of the battery disconnect but I do not know if anyone has tried that for the RDX. I may see if that works but if not I guess we will see what August brings.
Guys clock can be easily fixed by doing this: Disconnecting both battery terminals (negative first) at exactly 12:40 am/pm local time and reconnecting (positive first) them at 01:00 am/pm exactly local time. Then immediately turn ignition switch to ACC position and enter your radio and navigation codes. I fixed both clocks on my 2007 RDX and 2010 RL by this method. I found it on this website.
Got in my car today and the clock did reset itself (albeit 2 hours behind) but I was finally able to reset my clock to the correct time. I will go back in and turn the auto DST off as stated upthread. Acura should have done better with this but at least I can start paying attention to my clock again.
this stupid code is near impossible to diagnose. if you have ruled out the wastegate and the wastegate itself, i'd recommend a ECM tune to make it go away.
