Fitment issue on dash after replacing clock light

I've only had the car for about a month. A couple days ago I replaced the clock light and noticed these fitment issues. I don't know if they were there before I replaced the light. Does anyone else have these problems?

Here a link to the pic (copy and paste into new window, for some reason linking from here doesn't work):

For some reason an image link doesn't work.....

I have the problem at the top of the vent... but not the other one. My dash has been replaced by the dealer. I've learned to live with it.

I have the same problem while doing a dash led conversion. On different occasions I've gotten it closer...still a gap though...

If I come up with anything I'll let you know

i have the same problem but i'm nearly positive it's because the clips are worn out. i plan on replacing mine either soon or in the spring. i'll let you know.

Wow, I thought I was the only one. The clock light burning out seems to be a more frequent issue than I thought. Is it pretty easy to replace the light? Can anyone post instructions on how to do this? Don't need to be detailed just some general directions will do. I should be able to figure it out. Just don't want to do this completely blind and screw something up. Thanks.

I'm going to replace mine (again!) in the next week or so, hopefully I'll get a chance to take pictures this time

no, when u take off the dash, if u look at that spot, theres the plastic lip that is supose to go in n over that area, mine is like that too, and my past tl was like that too, cuz of removing, putting back removing, i removed my dash like 5 times now doing the leds, but yea, i learned to live wit it as well.

if u wanan try, when u put it in, push up against the lip, and towards the car.....and see if it pops back in......also on the bottom part, u gotta push up, so it goes over the cd tray
