AfterMarket Wheels & TPMS

I was wondering how the TPMS on the RDX works / is set up etc. I'm waiting on some new 20 inchers and I am a little concerned about this
Is this some gadet that you remove from the stock wheels and reinstall on the new one or what

Thanks

You can remove the stock sensors and place them on the AM wheels. From what I read so far, there hasn't been an issue with fitment. I just purchased a new set of sensors for my MRRs. This was I can easilly swap wheels back and forth if needed.

The sensors are located just inside the valve stem hole. The TPMS sensor is part of a piece that includes the valve stem as one piece. You insert the assembly into the valve stem hole in the wheel (from the inside, obviously), screw a nut on from the outside (obviously) and the assembly is done.

Anyone know if the TPMS sonsors from an '07 MDX are compatible with the '08 RDX? I found a web site that sells the ones for the MDX.

I believe they are different. You should be able to pick up a set for around $100 shipped from Ebay. I paid $105 shipped for new ones.

I did a little more searching and they had the ones for the RDX. Turns out that they are listed under the same part #. 42753-STK-A02
