RPM UP/DOWN help
98 CL 3.0 parked not running for over a year. Ran the engine until most of the gas was out changed the fuel filter put injector cleaner in and filled tank up.
Now the rpm go up/down in park and while in drive rpm are higher then before.![Annoyed](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/annoyed.gif)

Could this be a sensor or gas and suggestions thanks

Sounds like a sensor, could be the TPS or IACV

no because It has been on for years it would go on and off for no reason. I took it the dealer and they kept saying it was the gas cap not being tighten.
So I have a feeling it would be a false but tomorrow I will take to see if I can get a code.
I am leaning towards IACV but can't find a good sticky on how to clean it out

I am guessing you didn't take anything apart while it sat did you? the reason I ask is anytime I see something like this the first thing that comes to mind is vacuum leak somewhere. I have not had very many computer cars with all the sensors so I could be way off on this but still figured I would ask if anything that has a seal had been removed for anything at all or loosened while it sat for so long
