seems like a secondary security system installed. If it's only on start-up, what exactly is the problem?

 

hahaha its the SRS system. mine does it too

 

Is it just me or is there a bulb in the lower left that's on till the beeping stops?

 

^no i see it too, and it emits another beep like she explained.
my guess would be just the same as yours tho, secondary security system.

Yeah some sort of aftermarket alarm. It also looks like a concealed stealth radar detector display.

 

i'm almost positive that the SRS system is causing it. the beeping ends as soon as the SRS light goes out (after it has completed its check). I think that the red light you are referring to is the reflection from the door check. because it goes out once the red light from the door open thingy goes out. and you can also see that there is already a reflection of something there because it goes away and reappears when she jiggles the camera. i thin your problem lays in the SRS system. i'd try doing an SRS reset and see if the beeping goes away
