My car's makin' noises

So....

Lately, my car has been making a lot of random noises.
And I did search but I'd like to hear specific to my problems... a lot of those were just the cv joints and I guess the auto's have somthing when they're in park and it clicks?

1. The front driver's side suspension makes a crunching noise when I go over bumps.
2. When I apply the brakes there is a click noise that goes along with however fast I am traveling so when I'm going faster the clicks are closer together and when I'm slowing to a stop they are much farther apart.
3. I think my cat's heat shield is rattling.
4. When I push the clutch in to start the car up it sounds like there is a squeak... ?

Anyone have any advice to what these are and or how to fix them... thanks

1. i used to have that problem, until i swapped my suspension out
2. check abs fluid/pump
3. gotta jack up car and check around your resonator area (did you put the gasket in?)
4. cant imagine what that noise can be unless u do a lil better description ( when u press clutch, or when u start)...

1. strut bushings or sway bar bushings
2. What kumar said, check brake fluid
3. Rip heat shield off or bend a metal hanger and wrap it tight to hold it in place.
4. try oiling your throttle and clutch cables

1. I'll have it checked out... I'm broke right now...
2. Should I just add brake fluid?
3. Ok...
4. When I press the clutch in either at idle or right before I start the car up it squeaks... I'll try oiling those cables and see if that works.

1. Something to do with my strut is an obvious thing but I'm still not sure what on this one...
2. I took it to the guy that did my brake job and he just removed a bunch of "gunk" that was on the e-brake's or something... but it's coming back I think?
3. I looked under my car to realize that one of the mounts to hold on my magnaflow muffler came off... but there is still a rattling... I'm taking it to the shop that welded it to check all the welds tomorrow
4. I still don't know this one.

2 weeks ago i fixed this problem. you need sway bar links/bushing. under the car, right before the CV boot, there is 4 rubber bushings that go up and down. there should be 4 atleast. i had 3 on one side and 2 on the other. heh. there is a 6 inch bolt 10mm or 12mm ( you will need both socket attachments for change out ).

call your local auto parts store and ask them for the sway bar links for the front left and right. they should come in a pack. cost less than 20 bucks with tax.

make sure you get an allignment done after this though. thats what i was told. but i had a free allignment anyways so i got one.

this fix shoulnt take you more than 30 min to do both sides.

NOTE: there will be a small copper looking 1/2 extender that does not need to be installed.
