Help! Transmission Problem
Hey guys, I need help. The transmission is acting up, When shifting between all gears it seems to IDLE , The RPM will go up (as if i have it in neutral) 1-2seconds it will finally shift and the car will jump. I have to let go of the gas to let it shift, If i don't the RPM goes higher and it takes longer to shift. It does this with All gears, 1-2-3-4 I'm trying to see where the problem could be in the transmission. Please HELP!
I'd like to add this happened after the accident, the car was hit in the front and driver side, Was going about 15km/h on impact. Bumper had to be replaced. But I dont know why the transmission was affected. Could it be something thats off?
Tried, I have to pay 600$ to bring it down and then they will open it up and see if it was cause of the accident or not, worried I might bring it down and they say no and im out 600$. Cant afford a rebuild right now
Not sure if your credits right, I had financed my transmission. But you could always give it a shot, and 1 word of advice, STAY AWAY FROM AAMCO, there WAY over priced, ran me $1800 for my rebuild with a 2 year warantee. But when mine failed it was somethign to do with a hydrolic something, may be whats goin in yours, or it may be as small as the tranny computer. Possible fluid service needed aswell. Could be alot of things, best thing to do is get it checked no doubt.

The problems with the CL trans seems like sensors and electronics.
When cold, mine falls out of gear when coming to a stop, and then slams back in. However, if the car is in D1 or D2, it never falls out of gear. This means not a torque converter, but something else electronic. It's my daughters car, so I have her warm it, and drive the first couple miles in D2 before switching to D3 or D4.

for a rebuild, usually the torque convertor or the gears go bad
Stay the F away from aamco
