hey does anyone know if u can change the 97-99 chirp to the current acura beep sound?ya'll know like those from bmw's, toyota, lexus ect.

 

change your horn.

 

were do i find a horn at? do i go to acura and buy a tl's or something?

 

well what do you mean by new chirp? they pretty much all sound the same to me.

 

well, my cl has a weard "bird like" chirp and newer acura's have more of a luxury car "beep beep".

 

yeah, our cars have a loud yelp that sounds like a dog getting raped. toyotas/lexus's have the 2 beeps, others have the horn and such

 

I have a 98 CL3.0. All of a sudden the alarm just starts going off for no reason at all. All doors, trunk, and hood are shut securly. It just started doing this. I thought it was the battery, so I repalced it and the problem still happens. The only remedy I have found is to pull the alarm/door lock fuse in the engine bay, but then the car won't start at all. It is very annoying as I am trying to sell the car and do not want to put any $ into it.

I have picked up a few things from other posts in this thread, but no one seems to have this exact problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I can not put the signs back on it until I fix this problem.

Ok my problem is the car locks and unlocks fine but my lights dont flash neither do i hear a chirp i tried that trunk and lock button hold but nothing what can i do next ??

Yup i got my cl two weeks ago 97 3.0 vtec but i really want the owners manual do u kno anywhere i can get one
