Bumping this thread because I have a question. I was told (by Acura parts dept)that the 2.2 and 3.0 CLs use different window regulators? Can anyone confirm that a 2.2 regulator assembly will NOT work on a 3.0?
I have searched the web/ebay and everyplace is selling 2.2 regulators and not 3.0! The 2.2 version also works on the Accords as mentioned above.
According to Acura:
72210-SV2-013 is for 2.2 CL
72210-SY8-A03 is for 3.0 CL
FWIW, I need a 3.0 passenger side unit. The cable latch broke and now the 'up' cable has become wound up inside the motor.

Those guys are morons. A 1st gen regulator is the same, no matter what. how would the engine size cause the regulator to be different. They're just trying to hose you around

In any case, I found a dealer that would sell me a new OEM unit for $120 shipped, so I went that route. I know there were some aftermarket units for like $80, but I'm willing to pay more for OEM and no hassles.

actually i think they are different. the 3.0 has a one touch feature which i believe is controlled in the regulator. The pass side should work for either one. I only say this because if you buy an aftermarket one you loose the one touch.
