Is it common for a 98 cl 2.3 coupe to have headlights that are so dim that it seems like you have no lights? I mean it seems like you have some dark shades on at night. I have even been stopped and told I have a headlight problem by a cop. All the systems in the the car seem fine including a charging system check. The brights are fine but the dimms are horrible. Anyone got any brilliant ideas?

 

replace ur bulbs and check ur connections.

 

yes its normal..the stock bulbs are it was like they were there for no reason

just go to ur parts store and buy some silverstars..

polish your headlight lenses. are they cloudy? when i got my cl they were so cloudy and yellow that i couldnt see crap at night...

 

is your headlights cloudy? if not then replace your bulbs...silverstars are used a lot here...kinda pricey but its good....or check ebay for some

 

How much are silver stars??Mine are pretty cloudy to I tried to use some McGuiars plastic pollish and that crap did not work...

 

Don't get silverstars, they are garbage. They are about $40/pair. I went through a pair in 4 months. They are bright as hell, but they burn out quickly. They come with a 1 year warranty I believe, if you don't mind exchanging them all the time, but the word on the board is that nokya's (eBay) are the best bulb for your buck.
