A/C Always On?

Normally I have my climate control set to auto, and about 75. However when I press the off button I can still feel cold air coming out the vents, but the air isn't blowing quite as hard as it would normally (however it is still noticeable). Also even when I manual operate the climate control and select the a/c to turn off, I still feel cold air coming out the vents. What could the problem be? Also how do you guys general run your climate control, on manual or auto?

im pretty sure this happens to all cars, its just air coming out the vents while you're moving. it doesnt do it while your car isnt moving does it?

yeah, same here. only occurs when going a decent speed it seems if its off. Which is awesome when its warm out with the windows open. Seems that if it was at 90 last time, if its off, it still blows hot air, vice versa when its at 60 or so. hmm..

Also if the a/c was on it would take a while for the evap coil to equalize so you could be feeling residual cooling.

Watch the compressor and cooling fans. When they turn off, the AC system is off. Blower fan could be running on auto, but on manual you should be able to turn completely off.

good luck
