Torn CV Boots

I need some big help with this.

Today I realized my CV boots were torn, and they've been broken for quite some time cuz the grease was all over the axle and brakes and they had all sorts of crap in them.

I'm going to order some brand new CV boots from an Acura dealership, so can anyone help me out with how difficult they are to replace? And what I need to take off? Thanks.

if they've been busted for "quite some time," you're probably going to want to replace more than just the boot dood. if all the grease is gone, your joint is grinding on itself. that means replacement! I've been riding on busted joints for tooooo long.

Buying the boots from Autozone instead... much better deal and it comes with the grease.

its easier just to replace the whole shaft...but just buying the boot is way cheaper but its anal to replace and messy as hell
