i swear to god i hate people! someone hit me on saturday night and didnt even leave a note!
but it did give me a reason to order some led m3 mirrors

IMO, those M3 led mirrors are terrible... but on a side note - I saw a white first gen that got sideswiped HARD about 2 hours ago on my way to class. Whole pass side of his car was pushed in. Looked almost like a hit and run too.

 

at least it was the mirror definitely could have been worse.

 

on my way to work one time a tractor trailer was trying to get into the right lane and a pacifica wouldn't let him in so the truck just went anyway and the trailer rubbed up against the pacifica and demolished the mirror and scratched the doors real good.

 

Copy that. Although I believe you were a victim of theft and not a hit and run but better a mirror than the whole car.

like most said bro, it looks more like they were trying to take your mirror than a hit and run..luckily you didn't get any damage to the car itself and its just the mirror..good luck with replacing it, not really feeling the m3 mirrors..

this just happened to me, either someone one stole it, or hit me. there were no remains. and no marks on my car.. disappointing. thank god for car-part.com

i almost ordered some F1 style mirrors then my girl talked me out of it.
but seems nobdy here really cares for the M3 style mirror duno why thy look pretty scweet and kinda have the same curve as my lip, got them in black so im gunna have to have them painted

i understand why the guy just left tho. he's not a horrible person for doing so. he just didn't wanna wait around to have to shell out a hundered bucks. i would have done the same thing

 

well its gunna cost more than 100 bucks to have them installed and painted.
besides thats what insurance is for, they could have left me a note but NOOO!

at the comments here, and why would it cost so much, you coulda just got a replacement off of that site that chris posted, they looked pretty cheap and there's quite a bit of them but i guess if you wanna put some m3 mirrors on your cl then do it

 

i like our stock side mirrors, the m3 ones don't really cut it for me. if anything bro, at least you get new parts

 

bro, i just bought my mirror, mint condition from car-part.com for 40 bucks and did the install myself.. talk about a piece of cake you shouldnt even need a diy, its that easy! so one hundred bucks..
