So if you guys remember I was getting a custom trunk done by one of my buddies, where he took the bottoms of my amp off and flipped them over and had them floating in the spare tire well. Well I told him my amps got messed up and than he never answered back and now he moved to Las Vegas. Well I'm glad I got such good friends at magnolia Hi Fi. The manager is a really close buddy of mine and so he said that they installed the amps in a show car so I got them to get warranted. Well I used to have a D61500.1 sub amp and a D5600.4 4-channel amp, they had different covers so I wanted to get them to swap the D5 cover with a D6 and they just gave me a D6600.4 for free. Well I'm still waiting for that amp to come in. Sorry about the rambling but here are some pics of what it looks like so far.

I'm going to have the supervisor of Magnolia build me a false floor with a plexiglass window to show off the amps.

 

Looks sick man, I'm still trying to decide exactly what I'm doing with my amps, are you glassing the subs? If so where? I'm doing mine in the outside edges by the tail lights

did you dynamat the whole trunk or just where the spare wheel goes?

 

I'm not glassing the subs, I'm having my buddy build me a box that's gonna be loud as hell and it's gonna go back to back with the seats and then he's gonna build a false floor.
I did dynamat the whole trunk and rear deck and the back seat area.

no I'm not glassing anything I just glassed the rear deck and that's all. I'm having a false floor built and than a plexiglass window will show the amps off and it will be all lit up.

 

Nice, you should glass it all, but either way, sounds like a sweet setup.

 

my trunk is half way done. I left it at magnolia hi fi to have the installer finish it today. I think it'll still look great without being glassed.
