If you take it off..you will break it...there is no way to get it off without breaking it...so plan on replacing it if you take it off...

there is a way to take it off. My friend already cracked it when he was trying to take it off.

I know it has been done or else people paint it with it still on? There has to be a way.

Anyone else?

Ya good luck with that...I've looked under the dash (i've had the glove box, centre console where the radio is, bottom cover below steering wheel all off)...lots of screws and bolts holding the wood in from what I could see...very timely...if you can even take it off!!!

some1 i have had the same xperience. I also wonder if the climate control will be removable. i would like to put gauges there instead and relocate the climate control. I have all my interior out of my car except for the dash. i am dying the whole interior. I will have to someway get that peice off, so when and if i do i will post how to do it. I am guessing that this is the only way i will find out.lol We will see. Thanx guys
