wsup ya'll. the other day i noticed a high pitched squeakin commin from the rear of my car. kinda weird coz it doesn't last long. usually when i hit a bump it does it. i think it's the rear brakes coz it does it sometimes when i brake. there's prolly like 36 k on the car so could it be time for new brakes. just askin coz maybe some one knows wsup and can offer some advice as to what it may be.

it could be the brakes, is so the noise that you are hearing are the rotors hitting the tab in brake pad to let you know they are going bad. It could also just be the rotors getting hot and causing "glazing". Your best bet is to just take off the wheels and see what the pads look like. Good luck.
