Window Regulator
So my window stopped working today, then a few hours later it crawled up like a snail, and i managed to shut it. Should I clean/lube the tracks, or does this mean I need a whole new regulator and motor? Thanks.

its been covered before. well for me i had to get a whole new regulator and motor from a honda dealership, but i got employee discount so it was a good deal, im pretty sure its all one piece and you have to get the motor and the regulator, this seems like its been a common problem for our cars.

Usually check ebay or a parts site. 94-97 accords have the same one, and it's one piece.

i thought taking the door panel off was actually the easier part of the job, getting it back on was a little more difficult for me. but what sucks is the new motor and regulator assembly i put it is slower than the old one i had before it blew up.

^ and
but I'm sorry for those of you who paid $300 to replace the regulator. I just replaced mine AGAIN this weekend. Part from Superior Acura was $149.31 w/ tax. Pretty easy job, just take your time.

thats not to bad. at least u didnt get in the ass labor wise. i got mine for $102.48 with my employee discount from Academy Honda. it would have been $146.48 for a normal customer.
