My window stop functioning today and went into the door. The motor responds to the switch. I can push the window a lil less than halfway up but then it stops. 1 silver colored bolt fell from the bottom of the doorpanel while I was taking it off (has phillips head slot in it. The window is in track and slides smoothly up to that point I mentioned b4. HELP PLEASE ! Its already apart just need answers so I can fix it.

This just happend to me this week. Unfortuanately, when I took it to my friend's shop, I found out that I needed to order an extra part. There really is no way to fix it without getting the new component. It takes some time to get it fixed as well.

I was hoping for an easy fix, but there really wasn't any.

you need a new regulator common problem in cls. the cable usually gets twisted and mangled inside the motor. you can buy a new regulator on ebay for about $80 and do the labor your self. if you need pics or instructions let me know, i just did this a month ago.

Yea, its the Window Regulator...I actually had an emergency and couldnt wait for ebay/self install so i took it to the Acura dealer and they raped me about $300 for everything....

 

lol 3.0CL, yea.. i gotta say.. Dealers rape (_|_)s.

 

i bought mine from the dealer for 140$ and installed it my self in 15 minutes.
