The main bearing in your fan motor is toast. Eventually, it will stop working. This happened in my Teg, and it went out like a month later.

Kind of a pain in the ass to do, but the fan is not that expensive. I paid $75 for a new one.

Good luck.

No, it really doesn't, and besides, to grease it, you would have to pull it anyway. But no, greasing will not help... It will just make it worse over a short time. Once a motor is burned, it is burned.

Mine was doing the same thing a while back. My thermostat was stuck open which was causing the noise. If your heater is still putting out heat then this is not your problem, but if the heat is weak and you hear a shuddering noise under your glove box then the thermostat is prob. stuck open.

i hear the shudder noise under my glove box, and if i slam the glove box shut it'll go away, but it puts out heat faster than my parents cars.....so i dont think its my thermostat.

Thats one more thing I love about our cars is the heater is a beast. My Fiance's Civic takes a good 30 minutes to get warm enough to do anything. And even when its at its warmest it is nothing compaired to the heat my car puts out.

Replacing the fan is easy as balls, 3 bolts on one 4 on the other, 1 or 2 wiring harnesses
