Why bom bom bom sound come from muffler

There is still something wrong with my car and until monday I try to find out myself, otherwise I will take the car to dealer.

between 1500-2500prm I heard this sound from the muffler;
"bom bom bom bom"

I already have "Cylinder 2 missfire error"

Injectors are fine, fuel filter is fine

Need some ideas what it could be... thanks guys...

just visually inspect for nay damage, and pull the plugs and test for spark and make sure they are not fouled.

my girls civic started going bom bom bom
and I thought it was something serious, cuz the car started stuttering too. I checked the wires to see and they looked fine. put in fuel system cleaner. worked then started again even worse. I took it in for a diagnostic test. and $107 dollars later, I find out the plugs were over gapped. took two seconds to fix. the diagnostics test came up with two misfiring cylinders too. the car runs like a dream now.

or an exhaust leak. the boom boom boom noise from an exhaust leak is from the engine sucking air back into the exhaust thru ght hole. doubt it tho. check for the plugs. get some elcheapo's and find out.

not really more like lack of back pressure. same thing happens when uve got too big of exhaust on ur car. its really bad for the valves. and could burn them out.

but like i said get some $1.00 spark plugs and see what happens.

check ur plug wires. well the ends where they connect to the plugs. make sure all the clips are inside and they are tight and snap when they are installed. also check for spark leak. itll be on the plastic posts that go inside ur engine and will be bout the size of a "." and it will cause this problem. u just might to change them just to rule this problem out.(hate to see u go to acura and they do all these things first and u still have to pay for them even if they do not work) have u tried the injector light pin yet?
