So i'm leaving for florida till sunday today. I went to visit my shorty earlier in jerz and got home around 1:30am. I wanted to put my car in the driveway next to my house so that noone could mess w/it, but my sister's battery was dead and her car was in the way so i parked it on the street till i could call my boy to bring jumper cables in the morning to move it. No big deal to leave it on my street for a few hours right? Wrong. At approximately 3 am while i was finishing up some packing, i heard my car alarm go off and my pager start beeping. I look outside my window and see 5 guys in hoodies trying to break into my car with the alarm blaring. I think they noticed me look outside, as when i put on some pants and ran outside with that as my only article of clothing, they had already cut their losses and just opened my trunk to see what they could snatch, which unfortunately was my brand fucking new stage 2 exedy clutch, and jumped into their car to run away. They didnt notice the shortshifter in the box next to it thank god, fucking punks. I was left to stand their cursing and screaming, not even feeling it was cold outside and all i had on was jeans n boxers cuz i was so damn pissed. They shattered my drivers side window so i'll have to get that replaced and re-tinted and buy a new clutch. unfortunately i couldnt get a licenseplate number or see the people's faces, so i have nothing to tell the police. I bagged up my window, and woke my sisters up to help me manualy move her damn car, then placed my car next to my house where its virtually inaccesible unless you're some sort of contortionist (took me 15mins to get out the car because of how tight the space is, and i'm thin), and i have my sisters car as an anchor so even if they tried to move her car by hotwiring it to get to my car, it wouldnt work. My sister will have her friend move her car on a day where she will go and get the glass fixed and tinted while i'm in FL, and besides that it wont move and will be anchored behind my sisters car till i can drive her back to PA.

I knew someone was gonna try something, as 1 day i came back from the carwash and noticed someone walking next to my car and going in my neighbors yard and whatnot acting as if they knew someone on our street. That was long ago though, so i thought since my car is never here since i go to school i was safe, and i was terribly wrong. Thank god the idiots picked tonight to do it though, as any other day i'd have probably been asleep and if i was away on vacation i know noone in my house would have woken up when the alarm went off at that time and woulda lost my whole car to these fuckin amateur car thieves instead of a just a damn clutch. It kinda discourages me from modding my car now, cuz i'll be moving back to NY soon and dont wanna go through stupid thieves targeting my car, although i had serious plans for my car. God, i hate thieves, pilfering from those of us who have honestly worked to gain what we have. Thank God i got lucky and was awake at the perfect time though.

what was once one of the greatest and most unique states has been handed over to the refuse of the world, as most of the good people realize they're paying an arm+leg to live in a criminal paradise/armpit and leave. we are the sad foul-weather california of the east.

some bad bad news. Reminds me of the time my sisters civic got broken into. Had NO mods lol. It was a 4 door. They broke the passenger side window, and the car was parked next to a little cafe in COlumbus htat tends to get busy. They took the change out of the cupholder. lmao. But they didnt notice my 30 GB Ipod that i left right in the flap behind the passenger seat lol. THank god. But yea fuck these people. Its so stupid. Its ridiculous eh?
